Medium and large conference rooms with extended table configurations — where participants at the far end of the table are beyond the effective pickup range of the Flex system’s integrated speakerphone microphone — require supplemental microphone coverage. The CCS-UCA-MIC provides this as a tabletop USB microphone that connects directly to the Flex UC system’s USB audio chain, extending microphone coverage without requiring a separate DSP or audio processor for mixing. It is positioned at the far end of the conference table, ensuring far-end participants can hear near-end voices at that table position clearly during Microsoft Teams Rooms or Zoom Rooms meetings. As a USB audio device, it is automatically recognized by the UC conferencing software with no additional configuration beyond connecting it to the Flex system’s USB hub.
