Crestron CB3-BTNRED-S ENGRAVED – Medium Button Cap Set for Cameo Keypads, Red Smooth, Custom Engraving

Product Overview

The Crestron CB3-BTNRED-S ENGRAVED is a set of medium button caps for Crestron Cameo series keypads, in red smooth finish with custom Crestron factory engraving. These caps fit the medium (CB3) button positions on standard Crestron Cameo keypads. Red button caps are used on keypads where specific buttons require high-visibility color coding, such as emergency, all-off, or safety-related control functions, with permanent laser-engraved labels for reliable field identification.

Product Description

Red (RED) is a high-visibility accent finish in the Crestron Cameo button cap family. Unlike the neutral architectural finishes used on most keypad buttons, red is specified specifically for buttons that benefit from immediate visual identification — commonly all-off, emergency, or other critical control functions. The smooth (S) surface provides sharp engraving contrast, and the custom label is laser-etched by Crestron before shipment for permanent, wear-resistant identification. Red engraved caps are typically ordered in small quantities to accent one or two critical buttons within a larger keypad installation using a different primary finish.

FAQs

Can red button caps be mixed with other finish colors on the same keypad?

Yes. Red caps can be mixed with other Crestron Cameo finishes on the same keypad. The most common use case is a single red cap for an all-off or emergency button on a keypad that otherwise uses white, almond, or black caps.

What label text is typically engraved on red button caps?

Common labels for red caps include “All Off,” “Emergency,” “Shutdown,” or other critical function identifiers. The engraving text is specified at time of order and can be any text appropriate to the control function assigned to that button.

Are red caps available in blank (unengraved) form?

Check with your Crestron dealer for current availability of CB3-BTNRED-S BLANK. For most applications where red caps are specified, engraved versions are preferred to provide both the visual color cue and a permanent function label.
