Product Description

Cresnet is a 4-wire RS-485 network used throughout Crestron systems to connect keypads, thermostats, shades, sensors, and other devices to the control processor. Proper network termination and a star or homerun wiring topology improve network reliability and simplify troubleshooting. The CAEN-BLOCK provides four independent 4-pin 3.5mm detachable terminal block connectors for Cresnet branch runs (labeled NET), two 5-pin 0.156in header connectors for left/right daisy-chain connections (labeled LEFT/RIGHT), and two 3-pin 3.5mm terminal blocks for an override switch input (labeled OVERRIDE). The block mounts directly to the interior of any CAEN enclosure via its two integral mounting flanges.
