The C2N-UNI8IO allows a non-Crestron keypad — or any device with dry-contact outputs — to function as a native Cresnet device. Eight digital inputs accept 0–24V DC contact closures, while eight open-drain outputs rated at 100 mA each can drive LEDs, relay coils, or small lamps at up to 24V DC. An integrated DIP switch enables per-output current limiting to 5 mA for direct LED operation without external resistors. Power is derived from the Cresnet bus at 0.5 W, so no separate power supply is needed at the device.
