The Sound Control Technologies RC-RKM0-PLUS is a rack mount kit that secures a Cisco Codec Plus (Room Kit Plus codec) to the SCT RC-RKM universal rack shelf. The Codec Plus has no native rack ears; this retaining plate gives it a fixed, professional rack-mount position alongside SCT head-end modules. It is the Cisco-specific codec mounting option for RC-RKM shelf installations in conference room equipment racks.
Product Description
In SCT RC-RKM shelf assemblies, each codec model uses a matched retaining plate that clamps the codec to the shelf and keeps it from shifting when cables are connected or serviced. The RC-RKM0-PLUS is the plate profile for the Cisco Codec Plus, positioning the codec on the dual-RU shelf while leaving its rear ports accessible for HDMI, network, and power connections.
Installation is a simple mechanical attachment to the RC-RKM shelf following the SCT assembly drawing. Integrators deploying Poly G7500 codecs on the same shelf platform use the companion RC-RKM0-7500 plate instead. The plate is commercial-grade steel, consistent with the rest of the SCT rack shelf family.
