Product Description
The RC6-CQC RemoteCam6 extension kit carries all necessary signals for a Cisco Quad Camera deployment over one structured CAT cable. Dual HDMI video channels, IP-based camera control, and 12V power to the camera are all transmitted from the head-end module in the equipment rack to the camera end, eliminating separate video, control, and power cable runs. The RC-RKM 2RU rack shelf is included and designed to mount the RC6 head-end module alongside a Cisco Codec Plus or G7500 in a standard equipment rack. IP control passthrough maintains full Cisco Quad Camera functionality, including all native preset and control functions from the codec. An HDMI distribution amplifier output at the head end allows a secondary display or confidence monitor to receive the camera feed without an additional splitter. The RC6-CQC is suited for permanent commercial installation in boardrooms, conference rooms, and meeting spaces.
