Product Overview

CS-T10-WM-L-K9 is Cisco's standard ordering code for the First Light wall-mount Room Navigator, the panel specified when the requirement is room booking across a floor or a campus rather than control inside a single room. Cisco describes the wall version as bringing intelligent room booking to modern workspaces, and adds a multicolor 360-degree viewable LED status light plus temperature, humidity and air-quality sensors. It runs on PoE 802.3af Class 0 over one Ethernet (RJ-45) 100 Mbps connection and is current Cisco product.

Product Description

A booking rollout is a cabling exercise before it is an AV exercise. Each panel needs one Cat drop terminating beside the door at the mounting height agreed with the client, and a PoE 802.3af Class 0 source at the other end. That single dependency is what makes wall Navigators practical to deploy in volume: no local power, no separate scheduling appliance, no per-room control programming.

The LED bar is what differentiates a Navigator from a tablet in a wall frame. Multicolor and viewable through 360 degrees, it shows red, yellow or green along the corridor so occupancy is legible from a distance. The 10.1-inch 1920 x 1200 panel then handles the detail — current and next booking, ad-hoc claims and extensions — with an anti-glare, anti-fingerprint surface suited to constant touch.

Cisco gives the wall version one Ethernet port usable either for the external network or for direct pairing to the endpoint, plus a microUSB service port and a factory reset pinhole. The unit is 2.8 x 9.53 x 6.3 in. (6.9 x 24.2 x 16.4 cm) at 2.03 lb (0.920 kg) and ships with bracket, sticker and template. Specify at scale from the room scheduling collection and pair with control surfaces from device and room control.

Certification covers both platforms: Cisco lists the Room Navigator as a Microsoft Teams Rooms Console and a Microsoft Teams Panel, alongside native support for Room Series, Board Series and Desk Series on RoomOS 9.14.3 or later. Endpoints to pair with are listed under video conference systems.

Key Features

  • 360-degree multicolor LED status light — The wall-mount panel's status light is visible from down a corridor, so passers-by can see whether a room is free or booked without reading the screen.
  • PoE 802.3af Class 0 power — A single Cat cable carries both power and data, so the panel needs no local mains outlet at the table or beside the door.
  • 10.1-inch 1920 x 1200 capacitive touch panel — The higher resolution than the Touch 10's 1280 x 800 keeps room-booking and call-control layouts legible at arm's length.
  • Built-in environmental sensors — Temperature, humidity and TVOC air-quality readings are reported to Cisco Control Hub alongside acoustic data from the paired endpoint, giving facilities teams workspace telemetry without extra sensors.
  • Microsoft Teams Rooms certification — Cisco states the Room Navigator is certified as both a Microsoft Teams Rooms Console and a Microsoft Teams Panel, so the same panel deploys in Teams-standardised estates.
  • Enterprise network security — 802.1X authentication, HTTPS and SSH management, SRTP with AES-128-GCM or AES-256-GCM and WPA3-Enterprise with CCMP128 are documented for the panel.
  • Wide Cisco device compatibility — Cisco lists support across Room Series, Board Series (Board S, Board Pro, Board Pro G2) and Desk Series, so one control-panel SKU covers a mixed estate.
  • Anti-glare, anti-fingerprint surface — The finish reduces visible smudging and reflections on a panel that is touched constantly in a bright room.
  • First Light and Carbon Black finishes — Cisco documents two colour options for the Room Navigator, letting the panel be matched to the room finish or the paired device.

Typical Applications

  • Conference room — The 10.1-inch panel gives call control, content sharing and booking on the table or at the door of a standard bookable room.
  • Commercial meeting space — Managed office and multi-tenant meeting suites use the panel's booking state and Control Hub telemetry to report room utilisation to tenants.
  • All-hands room — A wall panel outside a large shared space makes booking state visible to a corridor of people rather than to whoever opens the door.
  • Multi-purpose room — Rooms that switch between meeting, briefing and training use benefit from one consistent control surface regardless of how the space is configured.
  • Government space — Agencies standardising room control across a campus can deploy a single panel type against documented 802.1X, HTTPS, SSH and SRTP security capabilities.

Frequently Asked Questions

What ships in the box?

Cisco lists the Room Navigator touch panel in First Light or Carbon Black, plus the mounting bracket, a sticker and an installation template. No VESA pattern is published for the wall version, so set out from the supplied template.

Does the panel need a power outlet at the table or wall?

No. The Room Navigator is powered by Power over Ethernet 802.3af Class 0 over its single RJ-45 connection, so one Cat cable carries power and data. Cisco also publishes a 100-240 VAC, 0.5 A max, 50/60 Hz rating for the optional power-supply accessory.

Does it work with Microsoft Teams Rooms?

Yes. Cisco lists the Room Navigator as certified both as a Microsoft Teams Rooms Console and as a Microsoft Teams Panel, so it can be deployed in a Teams-standardised estate as well as on Webex-registered and Cisco on-premises endpoints.

Which Cisco endpoints does it pair with?

Cisco lists Room Series, Board Series (Board S, Board Pro and Board Pro G2) and Desk Series devices as compatible, with a minimum software level of RoomOS 9.14.3 or later on the paired endpoint.

How is the panel secured on the corporate network?

Cisco documents 802.1X network authentication, secure management over HTTPS and SSH, SRTP media encryption using AES-128-GCM or AES-256-GCM, and WPA3 / WPA3-Enterprise with CCMP128, so the panel can be onboarded under standard enterprise access policy.

What environmental data does the panel report?

Temperature across 0 C to 35 C at 0.1 C resolution and plus or minus 2 C accuracy, humidity across 20% to 90% RH at 1% resolution and plus or minus 10% RH, and a TVOC air quality index across 1 to 5. Room acoustics data including RT60 comes from sensors in the paired video endpoint.

What cabling does the installer need to pull?

One Cat cable to a single Ethernet (RJ-45) 100 Mbps port on the panel. Cisco does not publish a maximum cable length or a PoE injector part number for this family, so follow your normal structured-cabling practice for 802.3af runs.

What warranty applies to this Room Navigator?

Cisco publishes a 1-year limited liability warranty for the Room Navigator. Warranty is handled per Cisco's standard terms for this product class — contact Creation Networks to confirm coverage for your order.
