Product Overview

CS-R70P-UPG-BUN is the Cisco Webex Room 70 Panorama upgrade bundle: the parts that convert an installed Cisco Room 70 Dual G2 into a panorama system rather than replacing it. The bundle adds a 55- or 65-inch Samsung 4K presentation display, a mounting bracket, an extra HDMI cable from camera to codec, HDMI and Ethernet cables for the presentation display, the Cisco Webex Room 70 Panorama product key and a lower floor stand kit. Cisco's data sheet states that this product has reached end-of-sale but is still supported by Cisco, and names the Cisco Room Kit EQX as the replacement.

Product Description

The logic of the upgrade is straightforward: a Room 70 Dual G2 already has two main displays, a camera, a codec and the room audio. What it lacks is a dedicated content screen, so shared material has to take over one of the participant displays. Adding a separate presentation display restores full-width presence on the main screens while content sits on its own panel, and the product key enables the panorama behaviour in software.

Two display sizes are published. The 65-inch option is the Samsung LH65QMREBCCXEN, a 65-inch VA-LCD edge-LED panel at 3840 x 2160 with a typical contrast ratio of 4000:1, plus or minus 89-degree viewing angles, a typical 8 ms response and 300 cd/m2 brightness, ordered as CS-PANO-MON65. The 55-inch option is the Samsung LH55QMREBCCXEN with the same electrical specification, ordered as CS-PANO-MON55. Presentation screen mounts are CS-R70-PRES-TOP for an above-screen position and CS-R70-PRES-BTM for below.

Physical planning matters here because the finished assembly is heavy. Cisco publishes a 65-inch floor-standing configuration at 124.65 x 104.41 x 4.76 inches and 546.8 lb (248 kg), a 65-inch wall-mount configuration at 124.65 x 102.28 x 4.76 inches and 560 lb (254 kg), and a 55-inch floor-standing configuration at 124.65 x 75.63 x 4.76 inches and 519 lb (235.5 kg); wall-mount, wall-secured floor-standing and free-standing options are all published, and the bundle ships on one pallet.
