CS-KITPRO-ST60 is listed by the distributor as a Cisco Room Kit Pro with SpeakerTrack. Before ordering, one point needs raising: Cisco's Room Kit Pro data sheet documents the Quad Camera, the PTZ 4K Camera and the Precision 60 Camera as the cameras for this platform, and Cisco's own SpeakerTrack 60 data sheet names only the C40, C60, C90 and SX80 as compatible systems. We therefore treat the camera in this configuration as something to confirm rather than assume - ask us to verify the exact camera before the purchase order goes out. The Room Kit Pro is Cisco's bundled large-room system built around the Codec Pro, for large boardrooms, auditoriums, classroom theaters and conference rooms.

Product Description

Whatever camera is supplied, the Codec Pro is the part of the system that determines what the room can do. It accepts six simultaneous video inputs - two HDMI at up to 1080p60, three HDMI at up to 3840 x 2160 at 30 fps and one 3G-SDI/HD-SDI at up to 1080p60 - and drives three HDMI outputs, two at 4Kp60 and one at 4Kp30, with triple-screen support on RoomOS. Content runs at 4K 2160p15 with up to three simultaneous local content sources.

On the audio side there are eight 48V phantom-powered Euroblock microphone inputs that also take balanced line level, three HDMI stereo inputs, two USB-A stereo inputs, up to eight IP microphones over PoE and AES67 in and out, with eight separate acoustic echo cancellers, an eight-port mixer, eight assignable equalizers and AI-powered adaptive noise removal, plus six balanced line-level Euroblock outputs into an external amplifier or DSP.

Multi-camera work is documented in detail by Cisco: cross-view with two additional sidewall cameras (PTZ 4K or Quad), PresenterTrack with a PTZ 4K or Precision 60 following a presenter inside a defined zone, and a combined presenter and audience view pairing a PresenterTrack camera with a Quad Camera. Cisco also states that speaker tracking on the Quad Camera works to about nine metres and can be extended beyond that with a PTZ 4K plus IP microphones. The codec is 17.1 x 2.6 x 9.1 inches, 7.3 lb and 1.5 rack units, mounting on a wall, on rack ears or free-standing. Cisco has since named the Room Kit Pro G2 bundles as the migration products.
