CS-KIT-MINI-BUN-K9 is the Cisco Webex Room Kit Mini supplied as a bundle with a touch controller. Cisco states the Room Kit Mini is ideal for huddle spaces with three to five people, and its defining feature is a 120-degree horizontal field of view that covers people sitting close to and to the side of the display. Cisco announced end-of-life on 30 April 2024, with end-of-sale on 18 June 2024, last ship on 18 September 2024 and a last date of support of 31 October 2029, naming the Cisco Room Bar as the migration product.

Product Description

The Room Kit Mini differs from the larger Room Kit in three ways that matter at specification time. It drives one HDMI output rather than two, so it is a single-display room only. It has no analog microphone inputs and no line out, so the internal microphones and integrated speakers are the entire audio path and cannot be extended. And it supports USB passthrough, which lets a laptop use the bar's camera, microphones and speakers as standard USB devices for any web conferencing service at 720p, with an HDMI cable to the external monitor.

That USB path is usually the deciding factor. A huddle space used by guests, contractors and staff on different platforms needs to work without a registered account, and the Room Kit Mini covers that case while still registering to the Webex cloud, to Cisco Unified Communications Manager 9.1(2) or later with the Room Kit Mini device pack, or to Cisco Expressway for scheduled Cisco calls.

The camera is 4K UltraHD with an 8 MP 1/2.5-inch sensor, 5x zoom and f/1.4, running up to 30 fps, with automatic framing by face detection and a physical privacy cover. Audio is a full-range speaker plus dual woofers in a balanced configuration covering 100 Hz to 20 kHz behind a 24 W amplifier at 84 dB maximum SPL. The bar is 19.7 x 3.2 x 3.0 inches and 4 lb, powered from 100-240 VAC to 12 V DC at 20 W average and 70 W peak, and Cisco specifies the FSP FSP070-AHAN2 or AcBel ADF019 supply.
