Product Description

The no-codec version is a procurement instrument rather than a different room. It suits a customer migrating an existing Codec EQ into a new EQX-format space, an estate consolidating codec licensing, or a project where the codec has already been purchased under a separate agreement. Because the codec supplies the registration, video I/O and call-control behaviour, the specification of the finished room follows the Codec EQ fitted to it.

What the assembly does provide is the difficult part of an immersive room. Six coaxial loudspeakers plus a compact folded bass horn, driven by the 16-channel Natural Audio Module IV amplifier with Euroblock outputs rated at a maximum 25W into 8 ohm per channel at 0.1% THD and a maximum 200W total, deliver directional audio that follows where the active remote speaker appears on screen.
