Product Overview
Programmes that deploy large wireless-free rooms across several buildings need the order to carry the specification, because the sites rarely match. CS-BRDP75-G3NRK9-- is the part number that does that.
It combines Cisco's customized-model designation with the no-radio build of the Board Pro 75 G3, where Wi-Fi 6/6E and Bluetooth 5.2 are not available.
The generation suits the use case: audio over IP for up to eight Cisco IP conferencing microphones, AES67 under the L-BARPRO-AV license, and documented SUDI, MIC and LSC certificate handling.
Confirm the build sheet before the purchase order is raised, since the configuration is defined per order.
Product Description
The specification for a secure large room usually has to be signed off before anyone measures the space, which means the order carries assumptions that the site later has to accommodate. A configured part number at least ensures those assumptions are consistent from building to building.
Coverage is the assumption most often wrong. Cisco states the internal 14-element array is optimised to 4 metres (13 ft), so a briefing room longer than that needs IP conferencing microphones over the audio-over-IP Ethernet port, and the G3 supports up to eight of them.
Network attachment is a single 10/100/1000 Ethernet LAN port with 802.1X authentication by passphrase or X.509 client certificate. Documented security also covers 802.1Q VLAN, 802.1p QoS/CoS, HTTP(S) and inspecting TLS proxy support, SRTP with AES-128-GCM or AES-256-GCM and management over HTTPS and SSH.
Wired content paths are USB-C DisplayPort Alternate Mode at 4Kp60 and an HDCP-compatible HDMI 2.0 type A input at 4Kp30, with one HDMI 2.0 type A output at 4Kp60. The G3 also provides a factory reset pinhole alongside the microUSB service port, which matters when a unit is re-provisioned between secure areas.
Handling is easier than on earlier generations at 64.5 kg board-only, with lifting handles supplied. Room build components are listed in microphones and display mounts.
Key Features
- Configured no-radio order — The customized-model designation and the No-Radio build are recorded together on one part number.
- Radios not fitted — Cisco lists Wi-Fi 6/6E as not available in non-radio versions and Bluetooth 5.2 as not available on the No-Radio model.
- Audio coverage beyond the array — Up to eight Cisco IP conferencing microphones over the audio-over-IP Ethernet port extend pickup past the stated 4-metre range.
- Documented re-provisioning path — A factory reset pinhole and a microUSB service port are published for the G3.
- Lighter board for large rooms — 64.5 kg board-only on the G3, against 72 kg on the G1 and G2.
- Consistent multi-site delivery — One configured SKU keeps every secure room in a programme identical.
Typical Applications
- Government space — Configured secure briefing rooms receive an identical wireless-free build at every site.
- Boardroom — Executive spaces under an RF restriction take the larger panel to one specification.
- Conference room — Multi-site secure conference rooms are delivered consistently.
- Training room — Controlled teaching spaces at 75-inch scale keep one documented equipment list.
