Product Overview
A large wired-only room is the hardest kind to make work well, because the microphone coverage problem and the no-wireless rule arrive together. CS-BRDP75-G3-NRK9 handles both.
This is the third-generation Board Pro 75 with Wi-Fi 6/6E and Bluetooth 5.2 not fitted, and with audio over IP for up to eight Cisco IP conferencing microphones plus AES67 under the L-BARPRO-AV AV Integrator License.
Everything the room needs is therefore cabled by design rather than by compromise, which is a better fit for secure and RF-restricted sites than any earlier generation of this board.
Cisco publishes a board-only weight of 64.5 kg for the G3, lighter than the 72 kg of the G1 and G2.
Product Description
The design method for this room is straightforward. Start from the 4-metre internal array coverage that Cisco states for the generation, measure the actual room, and add IP conferencing microphones over the audio-over-IP Ethernet port until the far end of the table is covered. Up to eight are supported.
Where the site already runs networked audio, AES67 under the L-BARPRO-AV license lets the board join that infrastructure instead of duplicating it. That is often the deciding argument in a facility with an established AV rack standard.
Network attachment is a single 10/100/1000 Ethernet LAN port with 802.1X authentication using a passphrase or an X.509 client certificate, supported by the G3's documented SUDI, Manufacturer Installed Certificate and Locally Significant Certificate handling.
Content is wired: USB-C DisplayPort Alternate Mode at 4Kp60, an HDCP-compatible HDMI 2.0 type A input at 4Kp30, one HDMI 2.0 type A output at 4Kp60 and a USB 3.2 Gen 2 type A port with 1.5 A charging. The Cisco Room Navigator powers and pairs over the 802.3af PoE port with its 15.4 W budget.
Registration for closed networks is Cisco Unified Communications Manager 15 SU5 or later or native Cisco Expressway, with third-party H.323 gatekeepers and standards-based SIP proxies also documented, from RoomOS June or RoomOS 26.7.2.
Room build components are listed in microphones, conference audio systems and display mounts.
Key Features
- No-Radio G3 build — Cisco lists Wi-Fi 6/6E as not available in non-radio versions and Bluetooth 5.2 as not available on the No-Radio model.
- Scalable wired audio — Up to eight Cisco IP conferencing microphones over the audio-over-IP Ethernet port cover a room longer than the 4-metre internal array.
- AES67 integration — Available under the L-BARPRO-AV Board Pro AV Integrator License for sites with an existing networked-audio infrastructure.
- Lighter 75-inch board — 64.5 kg board-only on the G3, against 72 kg on the G1 and G2, reduces wall loading and handling effort.
- Managed network enrolment — SUDI, Manufacturer Installed Certificate and Locally Significant Certificates support automated onboarding.
- Wired control surface — The 802.3af PoE Ethernet port with a 15.4 W budget powers and pairs a Cisco Room Navigator without wireless.
Typical Applications
- Government space — Large wired-only rooms get current-generation hardware and scalable microphone coverage.
- Boardroom — Executive spaces under an RF restriction take the larger panel with networked audio.
- Conference room — Secure conference rooms longer than the internal array coverage are covered by IP microphones.
- Training room — RF-sensitive teaching spaces scale audio pickup over the wired network.
