Product Overview
CS-BRDP75-G3-K9= is the service unit for the Cisco Board Pro 75 G3, ordered to replace a 75-inch board already in use rather than to build a new room.
Matching the generation is the point. The G3 runs from RoomOS June or RoomOS 26.7.2 or later, registers on-premises to Cisco Unified Communications Manager 15 SU5 or later, and has a different port and audio specification from the G2.
It is also the lighter of the 75-inch generations at 64.5 kg board-only, which affects how a spare is stored and moved as much as how it is installed.
Cisco publishes a one-year limited liability warranty for this generation.
Product Description
The reason to hold a same-generation spare is administrative as much as technical. A fleet documented against one minimum software release and one platform behaviour set stays cheaper to support than one carrying two, and a substitution made during an outage tends to become permanent.
Storage should be planned when the spare is bought. Cisco publishes a main unit package size of 1974 x 242 x 1303 mm for the G2 and G3, so the location needs to be flat, dry and reachable by the same route the original board took into the building.
The swap reuses the room. The existing wall mount kit, wall stand or floor stand stays in place, the 10/100/1000 Ethernet LAN drop is reconnected, and the Cisco Room Navigator re-pairs over the board's 802.3af PoE port with its 15.4 W budget.
Sources reconnect unchanged: USB-C DisplayPort Alternate Mode at 4Kp60, an HDCP-compatible HDMI 2.0 type A input at 4Kp30, one HDMI 2.0 type A output at 4Kp60, a USB 3.2 Gen 2 type A port with 1.5 A charging, two analog microphone inputs and a 3.5 mm stereo line out. Up to eight Cisco IP conferencing microphones on the audio-over-IP port return to service with the board.
Where AES67 was in use, the L-BARPRO-AV Board Pro AV Integrator License is the documented requirement and the licence position should be confirmed alongside the hardware. Mounting spares are in display mounts and alternatives in interactive displays.
Key Features
- Same-generation service unit — Repairing a G3 room with a G3 board keeps one software baseline and one documented platform specification.
- Lighter to store and move — 64.5 kg board-only on the G3, against 72 kg on the G1 and G2, with lifting handles supplied.
- Published package size — A 1974 x 242 x 1303 mm main unit package determines where a shelf spare can be kept.
- Networked microphones reconnect — Up to eight Cisco IP conferencing microphones on the audio-over-IP port return to service with the replacement.
- No re-cabling required — LAN, PoE, external camera, audio-over-IP, USB-C and HDMI connections all reconnect as they were.
- One-year limited liability warranty — Cisco publishes a one-year warranty for the G3 generation.
Typical Applications
- Boardroom — High-visibility rooms justify a dedicated spare on downtime cost alone.
- Conference room — Medium conference rooms in daily use are restored the same week.
- Training room — Timetabled teaching spaces need a replacement that fits between sessions.
- Commercial meeting space — Multi-building estates hold one central service unit and dispatch it as needed.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why not spare with a G2 board?
The G3 has a different minimum software release, different on-premises call-control requirements, a different audio specification and a different port set. A same-generation spare avoids splitting the fleet.
