Product Overview
Secure rollouts on the current generation need two things recorded at order stage: that the radios are absent, and that the configuration is the agreed one. CS-BRDP55-G3NRK9-- records both.
It is the Board Pro 55 G3 no-radio build under Cisco's customized-model designation, with Wi-Fi 6/6E and Bluetooth 5.2 not available on the No-Radio model.
The G3 platform is well matched to wired-only rooms, supporting audio over IP for up to eight Cisco IP conferencing microphones and documenting SUDI, MIC and LSC certificate handling.
The configuration itself is defined by the order, so confirm the build sheet before the purchase order is raised.
Product Description
In a secure programme the equipment list is written before the rooms are surveyed, which means the order has to carry the specification rather than the site. A configured no-radio part number does that, and it removes the risk of a building receiving a radio-equipped board the accreditation does not cover.
Wired capability on this generation is strong enough that the no-radio build is not a downgrade. Up to eight Cisco IP conferencing microphones connect over the audio-over-IP Ethernet port, with AES67 available under the L-BARPRO-AV Board Pro AV Integrator License, so audio coverage scales with the room instead of the array.
Network attachment is one 10/100/1000 Ethernet LAN port with 802.1X authentication by passphrase or X.509 client certificate. Content arrives over USB-C DisplayPort Alternate Mode at 4Kp60 or an HDCP-compatible HDMI 2.0 type A input at 4Kp30, with one HDMI 2.0 type A output at 4Kp60 downstream.
The Cisco Room Navigator is powered and paired over the board's 802.3af PoE port with its 15.4 W budget, and a factory reset pinhole is documented on this generation alongside the microUSB service port.
On-premises call control is Cisco Unified Communications Manager 15 SU5 or later, or native Cisco Expressway, from RoomOS June or RoomOS 26.7.2. Supporting equipment is listed in microphones and device and room control.
Key Features
- Configured no-radio order — The customized-model designation and the No-Radio build are recorded together on one part number.
- Radios not fitted — Cisco lists Wi-Fi 6/6E as not available in non-radio versions and Bluetooth 5.2 as not available on the No-Radio model.
- Networked audio scaling — Up to eight Cisco IP conferencing microphones over the audio-over-IP port, with AES67 under the L-BARPRO-AV license.
- Managed enrolment — SUDI, Manufacturer Installed Certificate and Locally Significant Certificates are documented on the G3.
- Service access documented — The G3 adds a factory reset pinhole alongside the microUSB service port.
- Consistent delivery across a programme — An agreed configuration under one SKU keeps every secure room identical.
Typical Applications
- Government space — Configured secure rooms receive an identical wireless-free build at every site.
- Conference room — Multi-site secure conference rooms are delivered to one specification.
- Training room — Controlled teaching spaces keep a single documented equipment list.
- Commercial meeting space — Regulated organisations standardise wired-only rooms on the current generation.
