What is the Christie 140-110103-02 lens?
A zoom lens delivering 1.5–2.0:1 on HS Series projectors and 1.8–2.4:1 on Jazz Series, with full Intelligent Lens System support and 4K compatibility. The throw ratio differs between series because the imager sizes differ — the same optic, two numbers.
Throw distance
On an HS Series projector at 1.5–2.0:1, a 10-foot-wide image needs 15 to 20 feet of throw. On a Jazz at 1.8–2.4:1, the same image needs 18 to 24 feet. Both cover standard auditorium, lecture hall and worship distances.
Full ILS
Motorised zoom, focus and lens shift with position memory. On a ceiling-mounted or rigged projector that means adjusting the image from the floor rather than from a ladder, and on a multi-projector blend it means lenses recall to saved positions instead of being realigned by hand.
