The Christie Griffyn 4K35-RGB is a 3DLP projector delivering 35,000 ISO lumens at native 4K resolution using RGB pure laser illumination, in a 175 lb chassis. This is the TAA-compliant version under part number 163-046101-03, for federal contracts and federally funded projects. It ships without a lens.

Why Griffyn

At 35,000 lumens with native 4K and RGB pure laser, this is large-venue and high-end installation territory: arenas, planetariums, major projection mapping, visitor attractions and simulation. Native 4K means a real 4K device rather than pixel shifting, and RGB pure laser generates red, green and blue directly rather than converting blue through a phosphor wheel — producing a substantially wider colour gamut.

Where colour fidelity and resolution are both the deliverable, that combination is why Griffyn gets specified over a brighter but less accurate alternative.
