The Christie 140-168106-01 is the fog filter for Christie Korus Series 1DLP laser projectors. It reduces the impact of oil and residue created by special effects such as hazers, smoke and pyrotechnics, keeping the projector performing at its best in stage and event settings. It fits the Korus Series filter frame, which is sold separately.
What does the Christie 140-168106-01 do?
Korus projectors run filter-free in normal indoor conditions. When a projector is exposed to more than typical indoor dust, such as dirt, sand, fog, smoke, hazers or pyrotechnics, Christie recommends this fog filter. It sits in the Korus filter frame over the projector's intake and traps atmospheric residue before it is drawn inside.
The filter is compatible with the Christie 4K1400-KS and 4K1000-KS. Filter life depends on conditions, so Christie recommends checking it every few weeks in harsh environments. For dirt and sand without haze, use the Korus dust filter instead.
