The set ships without a frame; it fits the Jazz Series filter frame, sold separately.
What does the Christie 140-162100-01 do?
Jazz Series projectors are designed to run filter-free, but Christie recommends a fog filter when a projector is exposed to more than typical indoor dust, including dirt, sand, fog, smoke, hazers or pyrotechnics. The filters sit in the Jazz filter frame on the projector's intake and capture airborne residue before it reaches the internals.
The set fits every Jazz model, including the Christie 4K2100-JS, DWU2400-JS, 4K1600-JS and DWU1800-JS. Filter life varies with conditions, and Christie recommends checking filters every few weeks in harsh environments. With five filters in the set, a touring or rental team can carry spares for several changes.
