The Chief CPA380 is a truss ceiling adapter that connects Chief CPA pin-connect columns to a 2" (51 mm) tube truss. It gives integrators a fast way to hang projectors and flat panels from truss in temporary projection and staging setups. The adapter is designed for rental and staging installation benefits and is compatible with all Chief CPA columns, accessories, and mounts. A trigger-style clamp allows a one-person install with a 250 lb (113.4 kg) safe working load.
Product Description
The CPA380 adapts CPA pin-connect columns to a 2" (51 mm) tube truss, making it well suited to temporary projection and flat panel needs in rental and staging environments. A trigger-style clamp lets a single installer attach the adapter to the truss quickly, and the assembly carries a safe working load of 250 lbs (113.4 kg). The adapter is compatible with all Chief CPA columns, accessories, and projector and flat panel mounts, so it integrates with existing CPA-based hardware. External cable management accessories such as the CMA274 are available to dress cabling along the column. Extension columns are sold separately to match the required drop. It suits broadcast studio, auditorium, and event staging installations. As a Chief commercial-grade accessory, professional installation is recommended.
