The Chief PAC117 is a 28-piece steel stud and drywall anchor kit that lets integrators install large flat panel mounts to metal studs. It is built for commercial display installations where wood backing is not available and the mount must anchor into steel studs through drywall. The kit supplies the toggler anchors and fasteners needed for a code-conscious install.
Product Description
The PAC117 kit allows the installation of many Chief mounts to metal studs, making it possible to hang large flat panel TVs on steel-framed walls. It includes 1/4-20 screws, 1/4 washers, and heavy-duty toggler anchors, with this kit containing 28 anchors for larger or multi-mount jobs. The PAC115 contains 4 anchors and the PAC116 contains 8 anchors for smaller installations, so an integrator can match anchor count to the project. The mounted weight capacity is dependent on the specific mount used, and the drywall must be at least 0.5" (13 mm) thick for proper anchoring. The kit is compatible with all FUSION and FIT wall mounts and with Thinstall dual stud swing arm wall mounts. This makes it a practical anchoring solution for large-display installations in conference rooms and commercial meeting spaces.
