Product Overview
The Chief CMA502 single electric outlet coupler provides a convenient location for an electrical outlet to power a flat panel or projector in ceiling-mount installations, or a site for low-voltage connections. It is compatible with Chief 1.5" NPT extension columns and routes high-voltage wiring through the center of the column into the box for a clean appearance. It is well suited to drop-ceiling commercial AV installations.
Product Description
The CMA502 gives integrators a defined location to terminate an electrical outlet at the ceiling, providing power for a projector or flat panel mounted on a Chief extension column. It can also serve as a junction point for low-voltage connections. The coupler is compatible with Chief 1.5" NPT extension columns and is engineered for quick, easy installation. High-voltage wiring routes through the center of the extension column and into the box, keeping the wiring concealed for a clean, professional installation. It provides power access right at the installation point, which is especially useful in drop-ceiling environments where outlets are otherwise hard to reach. The CMA502 is available as a single-gang solution, with a dual-gang option also offered, and is TAA compliant for government and institutional procurement.
