The Chief PL2B is a keyed projector lock that adds theft protection to RPA series projector mounts beyond Chief's standard All-Points Security. It targets the projector mount specifically, avoiding the cost and bulk of enclosing the entire unit. This model includes key option "B" and is intended for security-sensitive commercial and education installations.
Product Description
The PL2 provides extra defense against theft beyond Chief's standard All-Points Security, without the expense of enclosing the entire projector mount. It is available in three key options: PL2A, PL2B, and PL2C, so facilities can vary keys across rooms or standardize on one. This PL2B model includes key option "B". The lock maintains convenient lamp and filter access, so routine maintenance is not obstructed, and its compact design keeps the hardware discreet on the mount. It is compatible with new or existing RPA series installations, making it suitable for retrofits as well as new projects, and it allows standard routing of cables through 1.5" NPT pipe. The lock ships fully assembled to reduce installation time. For larger projector models, Chief offers the PL1. Other key options are available as the PL2A and PL2C.
