Product Overview
The Chief ODA330B is a weatherproof concrete ceiling plate for outdoor flat panel and digital signage installations. It is designed to work with Chief OLC outdoor ceiling and pedestal mounts, anchoring the mounting column to poured or pre-cast concrete. Built to withstand rain, humidity, ocean air, sun exposure, and high winds, the plate is rated for outdoor use and suits commercial digital signage in exposed environments.
Product Description
The ODA330B separates the ceiling plate from the mounting column to make outdoor installation more manageable. 
Because the plate ships separately from the column, the system is easier to lift into place during installation. The plate is fastened using two oversized holes, which lets the remaining holes serve as a drilling template for precise anchor placement. It can be installed in ceiling or floor cement, supporting both overhead and pedestal configurations. For poured concrete, it requires only a 4-inch minimum anchor embedment with a 5000 psi minimum compressive strength; for pre-cast concrete, it requires only a 2-inch minimum embedment with a 6000 psi minimum compressive strength. An access slot allows electrical conduit to be routed into the column for clean power and signal delivery. The weatherproof design meets UL 2442 Part 2 for outdoor use, with corrosion-resistant paint, UV-rated plastics, and stainless-steel hardware. The plate works only with Chief outdoor-rated mounts and plates, ensuring a matched, durable outdoor system.
