Product Overview
The Chief FCA500 lower shelf assembly mounts directly below a flat panel display to hold AV components within reach of the screen. It is a practical accessory for conference rooms, huddle rooms, and commercial meeting spaces where a cable box, media player, or codec needs to live with the display rather than in a separate rack. The shelf tilts with the TV, keeping mounted devices aligned with the viewing angle. Height adjustment lets integrators fit components of different sizes on a single mount.
Product Description
The FCA500 installs a single 18-inch-wide shelf below the display to carry AV components close to the screen they serve. Because the shelf tilts in concert with the TV, an IR receiver or camera on the shelf maintains its line of sight as the display angle changes. The shelf is height adjustable, so it accommodates components of varying depth and clearance requirements without swapping hardware. This keeps source devices off the floor and out of a remote rack, which simplifies cabling and shortens signal runs in a flat panel installation. The FCA500 is TAA compliant, supporting procurement for government spaces and other public-sector projects.
