Product Description
The CMS036W belongs to Chief's Speed-Connect fixed column family, designed to reduce installation time on overhead projector and display mounts. The column is a single aluminum extrusion threaded 1.5" NPT on both ends, so it threads directly into a compatible ceiling plate at one end and a mount or coupler at the other. A cable exit port supports flow-through cable management, allowing installers to route cabling through the interior of the column and out at the connection point. The 36-inch length suits rooms with higher ceilings where a longer drop is needed to bring a projector or display to the correct viewing height. Aluminum construction keeps the assembly lightweight while maintaining the strength required for commercial-grade overhead support.
