Product Overview
The Chief CMS012W is a 12-inch fixed extension column in a white finish for suspended projector and display mounts in commercial AV installations. Machined from aluminum with 1.5-inch NPT threads on both ends, it sets a ceiling-mounted device at a precise, secure height while blending into white ceilings. Flow-through cable management routes wiring inside the column and out a dedicated exit port. It pairs with any Chief 1.5-inch NPT ceiling plate or compatible accessory.
Product Description
The CMS012W fixed pipe is a 12-inch aluminum extension column finished in white to match light-colored ceilings. Both ends carry 1.5-inch NPT threading, connecting to a Chief ceiling plate on one end and a projector or display mount on the other. The aluminum construction keeps weight low while providing the strength required for secure overhead support. Cabling runs through the column and exits a built-in cable port, keeping power and signal lines concealed. Fixed columns save installation time over field-cut pipe and deliver a repeatable, secure drop height. The CMS012W suits conference room, classroom, auditorium, and digital signage projector deployments where a white finish is preferred. It is TAA compliant for government and procurement-sensitive projects. Combine it with Chief ceiling plates and couplers from the full Chief collection to build a complete suspension system.
