Product Overview

The Chief XCM7000 is a dual-column ceiling mount engineered for heavy, extra-large flat panel displays in digital signage installations. Its dual pole drop and locking tilt angles deliver a stable system for displays up to and over 5 inches deep. Part of Chief's FUSION ceiling mount line, the XCM7000 is built for overhead commercial signage where wall mounting is not an option.

Product Description

Chief XCM7000 extra large dual column ceiling mount The XCM7000 is a dual pole drop ceiling mount for all extra-large displays up to and over 5 inches deep, providing the stability that heavier panels require. For lighter and thinner XL displays under 5 inches deep, Chief offers the single-pole XCM1U. Centris fingertip tilt technology lets installers position the screen effortlessly, and continuous tilt with four set locking points removes the guesswork when aligning multiple screens. A simple on/off connection eases installation and service, and tool-free screen engagement supports optional padlock security. The dual pole drop, combined with locking tilt angles, produces a more stable system for extremely heavy and deep displays. A ceiling plate and extension column are required and must be ordered separately; the mount is compatible with traditional 1.5-inch NPT and the newer CPA pinned ceiling plate and column systems. Chief Fusion Universal Back Covers can provide an aesthetic covering to the rear of the displays, components, and mount. For thinner displays and back-to-back builds, see the Chief XCB1U back-to-back ceiling mount and the full Chief collection.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What displays is the XCM7000 designed for?
It is built for heavy, extra-large displays up to and over 5 inches deep, mounted from the ceiling.

Q: When should I choose the XCM7000 over a single-pole mount?
Choose the XCM7000 for heavier and deeper displays that need the added stability of a dual pole drop. For lighter, thinner XL displays, the single-pole XCM1U is the alternative.

Q: Does it include a ceiling plate and column?
No. A ceiling plate and extension column are required and sold separately. The mount works with 1.5-inch NPT and CPA pinned systems.

Q: How are the displays secured and adjusted?
Tool-free screen engagement accepts an optional padlock, and Centris fingertip tilt with four locking points sets the display angle.

Q: Can the rear of the installation be concealed?
Yes. Chief Fusion Universal Back Covers can cover the rear of the displays, components, and mount.

Q: What warranty applies?
The XCM7000 is covered under the Legrand AV / Chief manufacturer warranty. Contact Creation Networks for current warranty terms and support.
