The Chief CMA504 is a dual electric outlet coupler that provides a convenient power location for a flat panel, projector, or other AV equipment in ceiling mount installations. It is built for commercial AV drops where power and low-voltage connections need to terminate at the mounting point. The housing mounts on 1.5" NPT extension columns and is TAA-compliant.
Product Description
The CMA504 gives integrators a clean, dedicated location to bring power to a ceiling-mounted display or projector. It positions two outlets at the installation point, which is especially useful for drop-ceiling installations where a wall outlet is out of reach. Beyond power, it also serves as a convenient point to terminate multiple low-voltage connections, consolidating cabling at the mount. High-voltage wiring can be routed through the center of the extension column and into the box, keeping the installation tidy and concealed. The coupler is compatible with 1.5" NPT extension columns and installs quickly. It is offered as part of a single- or dual-gang solution; the CMA504 supplies the outlet housing only, and internal boxes and outlets are not included.
