Product Overview
The Chief CPA060 is a 60-inch black extension column for ceiling-mounted displays and projectors. It is built for commercial AV drops where a fixed-length column sets the display at the right height below the ceiling. The column uses Chief's dual-pin connection, can be cut to length, and is TAA-compliant.
Product Description
The CPA060 is part of Chief's CPA column system, which combines installation-focused engineering with a finished, professional look. The column connects using a dual-pin method: two thread-forming screws fasten into factory pre-drilled holes at each end, and because the fasteners do not pass through the center, the column retains a clear path for cable pass-through. The column ships in a pre-cut 60-inch length with three pre-drilled through holes at each end, and it can be cut to length, re-drilled, or threaded to 1.5" NPT to customize the drop. Grooves in the outer surface provide an aesthetic finish and double as drill guides. It is compatible with dedicated pin-connection ceiling plates as well as Chief ceiling plates used with the CPA261 and CPA262 adapters. The CPA060 is TAA-compliant for U.S. government and public-sector procurement. This makes it well suited to auditoriums, houses of worship, and large commercial meeting spaces with high ceilings.
