Product Overview
The Chief CPA048 is a 48" black extension column for ceiling-mounted projectors and displays, part of Chief's CPA column system. It uses a dual pin connection for fast, secure assembly while allowing cable pass-through, and can be cut to length or threaded to 1.5" NPT for installation flexibility. It is well suited to conference room, auditorium, and commercial AV installations that need a long, clean column run.
Product Description
The CPA048 is a 48-inch column from Chief's CPA column system, which combines installation-friendly features with an aesthetic finish. Its dual pin connection is achieved by fastening two thread-forming screws at each column end into factory pre-drilled holes; because the fasteners do not pass completely through the center, the column retains a clear path for cable pass-through. The column offers flexible inventory handling: it can be cut to length to customize the installation, re-drilled, or threaded to 1.5" NPT for compatibility with standard Chief accessories. It is compatible with dedicated pin-connection CPA ceiling plates and, using adapters such as the CPA261 and CPA262, with all Chief ceiling plates. Grooves in the outer surface provide a professional appearance and double as drill guides, and each column ships in a pre-cut length with three pre-drilled thru holes at each end.
