The Chief CPA036 is a 36-inch black extension column from Chief's CPA column system, built for projector and video wall ceiling extension. It uses a dual pin connection that fastens with thread-forming screws into factory pre-drilled holes while leaving the column center open for cable pass-through. The column can be cut to length, re-drilled, or threaded to 1.5" NPT for flexible installation. Grooves in the outer surface provide an aesthetic appearance and serve as drill guides.

Product Description

The CPA036 is part of Chief's CPA column system, which combines installation-focused features with a finished, professional appearance. Connection is achieved through a dual pin design: two thread-forming screws fasten at each column end into factory pre-drilled holes. Because the fasteners do not pass completely through the center of the column, the interior remains open to enable cable pass-through for a clean installation. The column offers flexible inventory handling — it can be cut to length to customize an installation, re-drilled as needed, and also threaded to 1.5" NPT to interface with standard Chief hardware. It is compatible with dedicated pin connection ceiling plates as well as all Chief ceiling plates when paired with the appropriate transition couplers such as the CPA261 and CPA262. Grooves in the outer surface give the column an aesthetic look while also acting as drill guides for accurate field modification.
