The Chief CPA018 is an 18-inch extension column for suspending projectors and displays from the ceiling in conference rooms, auditoriums, and commercial meeting spaces. The CPA column system combines installation-focused features with a finished aesthetic look. This model ships in a black finish.
Product Description
The CPA018 is part of Chief's CPA column system, which hosts many installation-inspired features along with an aesthetic finish. Its dual pin connection is achieved by fastening two thread-forming screws at each column end into factory pre-drilled holes, and because the fasteners do not pass completely through the center of the column, cable pass-through stays open for concealed wiring. The column offers flexible inventory: it can be cut to length to customize an installation, re-drilled, or threaded to 1.5" NPT for use with standard Chief mounting hardware. Grooves in the outer surface provide a professional appearance and also act as drill guides for accurate field modification. Each column ships in pre-cut lengths with three pre-drilled through holes at each end. The CPA018 is compatible with dedicated pin-connection ceiling plates as well as Chief ceiling plates, and it is TAA Compliant for government space procurement. Need a longer drop?
