Product Description

The CMS492CP2 hides projectors, switchers, and other AV components above the ceiling while keeping them serviceable, which keeps rooms looking finished without sacrificing access. A drop carriage door improves serviceability by providing full access to the equipment, and optimal pipe flexibility within the tile reduces reliance on image correction to improve image quality. The detachable power housing can be pre-installed by electricians on site and assembled to the storage box later, and it can face inside the box or into the room. The non-sacrificial, multi-stage surge and filter module protects connected equipment from high-energy transients, lightning strikes, and electronic noise, with a line filter that reduces common and differential mode noise by up to 40 dB. The unit is UL evaluated for use in air-handling spaces per NEC Article 300.22(C) and is TAA compliant. Lightweight construction supports one-person installation, and it ships with speed-connect hardware and one shelf (a second shelf, CMSUNV2, and 1RU rack rail brackets, CMS1RU, are sold separately). The column is not included and must be purchased separately.
