Product Overview
The Chief CMA106 ceiling junction plate suspends a projector between ceiling joists for a clean, structurally sound overhead installation. It mounts to a junction box and accepts a 1.5-inch NPT threaded extension column to set the projector at the required height. The plate is designed to work with any ceiling height when paired with the appropriate column length. It is a standard accessory for projector installations in conference rooms, training rooms, and auditoriums.
Product Description
The CMA106 junction box ceiling plate gives integrators a code-friendly way to hang a projector between joists. 
Rather than mounting directly to drywall, the plate attaches at a junction box location between ceiling joists, providing a secure structural anchor. A 1.5-inch NPT threaded extension column then threads into the plate, and the installer selects the column length needed to reach the desired projector height. This makes the CMA106 adaptable to nearly any ceiling height. The plate has a 102 x 102 mm mounting pattern for attachment.
