Product Overview
The Chief CMS012018 is an adjustable extension column that telescopes from 12" to 18" for ceiling-mounted AV. It lets integrators set drop height in 1" increments without disassembling the column, saving installation time. The column is 1.5" NPT threaded on both ends and works with any Chief 1.5" NPT ceiling plate or accessory. It is intended for commercial AV ceiling installations such as projector and flat panel mounts.
Product Description
The CMS012018 saves installation time and maximizes security with an adjustable design that sets the column anywhere from 12" to 18". It provides height adjustment in 1" increments, and a notched design allows that adjustment without disassembly, so an installer can dial in the drop on the lift. An included set screw adds stability once the height is set. The column consists of a 1.5" NPT pipe threaded on both ends, so it connects to any Chief 1.5" NPT ceiling plate or accessory to build a complete suspended mount. The accessory is TAA compliant, supporting government space and procurement-sensitive projects. It suits conference room, training room, and auditorium ceiling installations.
