Product Description
The CMA472 stores larger equipment above the ceiling line, keeping source devices hidden while remaining accessible for service. Its low-profile design supports wide, thin equipment in a horizontal orientation, which suits the form factor of many AV components and small appliances. The enclosure is UL listed and has been UL evaluated for use in air-handling spaces as defined by Article 300.22, sub-clause (C) of the NEC, so it can be installed in plenum ceilings where code requires it. It is compatible with the Chief CMA440 and CMS440 suspended ceiling kits, integrating with the same ceiling infrastructure used for display and projector mounts. The accessory is TAA compliant, supporting government space and procurement-sensitive projects. It suits conference room, commercial meeting space, and equipment-concealment installations.
