The Chief CMA101 is a 5-inch (127 mm) designer ceiling plate that provides a cost-effective anchor point for suspended projector and display column installations. The plate uses a 4 x 4 inch mounting pattern and ships in a black finish.

The CMA101 gives integrators a straightforward, attractive solution for basic ceiling-mounted AV installations. 
Its compact 5-inch footprint keeps the visible hardware minimal while the 4 x 4 inch mounting pattern accepts 0.38-inch mounting bolts for a secure structural connection to the building. The plate serves as the ceiling-side anchor in a column-and-coupler assembly, pairing with Chief extension columns and 1.5-inch NPT accessories to suspend projectors or flat panels at the required drop height. Fast and easy installation makes it well suited to high-volume room build-outs where consistency and speed matter. The CMA101 is offered in black, silver, and white so the finish can be matched to the ceiling and surrounding trim.
