The CMS492C hides projectors, switchers, and other AV components above a standard 2' x 2' ceiling tile while presenting only the projector and column drop to the room below. A drop carriage door improves accessibility and serviceability, providing full access to the equipment inside without removing the enclosure. The detachable power housing can be pre-installed by electricians on site and assembled to the storage box later, streamlining trade coordination on larger projects. Power options support up to two single-gang or one dual-gang outlet, and four nested knockouts accept 1-1/4", 1", and 1/2" diameter conduit. Optimal pipe flexibility within the tile reduces reliance on image correction, helping preserve image quality on the projector. The AV tray supports a variety of components and ships with one shelf, with a second shelf (CMSUNV2) and 1 RU rack rail brackets (CMS1RU) available separately.
