The Chief TAS1 is a 1-inch TA spacer kit that adds depth to a THINSTALL in-wall storage box for additional AV component clearance. It increases available in-wall depth to a total of 1.75 inches, or 1 rack unit, behind a recessed display. The spacer is designed for installations where source devices or media players need extra room inside the wall cavity. It works with Chief TA500 and TA501 in-wall boxes and compatible THINSTALL swing-arm mounts.
Product Description
The TAS1 spacer kit creates an additional inch of space for component storage within a THINSTALL in-wall box, bringing the total available depth to 1.75 inches (1 RU). This extra clearance lets integrators house a media player, signal extender, or other small AV component behind a recessed flat panel without interference. The kit is compatible with the Chief TA500 and TA501 in-wall boxes and the CSPBPTA component storage panel. It also supports THINSTALL in-wall swing-arm mounts including the TS318TU, TS325TU, and TS525TU.
