Product Overview
The ChamSys QuickQ 20 is a compact, affordable lighting control console for first-time operators and small commercial venues controlling dimmers, LED colour mixing, and moving lights. With a 9.7" multi-touch display and a smartphone-style interface, this entry-level lighting console suits house of worship installs, school theatres, and huddle or multi-purpose room deployments. It supports 2 DMX universes with two direct outputs plus networked Art-Net and sACN, and built-in WiFi for the free QuickQ remote app. Show files stay compatible with the wider MagicQ range for future progression.
Product Description
QuickQ 20 is built to get inexperienced users programming quickly in a smaller footprint than the QuickQ 30. The interface is modelled on a smartphone, using icons, pinch-zoom, and scrolling on the 9.7" touchscreen to lead an operator through setup, programming, and playback. This makes it a strong fit for volunteer-run and staff-rotated spaces such as houses of worship and schools.
The console provides 20 multi-function fixture faders with Fixture, Group, and Cue modes, ten multi-cue playback faders legended on screen, and a dedicated grand master. A dedicated colour control area with hue and saturation encoders, a built-in colour picker, and gel libraries simplifies LED fixture work. RDM autopatch automatically detects and patches compliant fixtures, reducing commissioning time during installation.
For networked deployment, QuickQ 20 outputs DMX over Art-Net, sACN, and Pathport across two universes, and supports remote triggering of playbacks and execute items via OSC for integration with show-control systems. Built-in WiFi connects to the free QuickQ app on iOS, Android, and Windows by scanning an on-screen QR code. Free offline editor software for Mac and Windows lets a programmer build shows in advance and load them via USB. Because QuickQ shows load onto any MagicQ system, a venue can progress to the more advanced MagicQ range without rebuilding its show.
