The console provides 20 multi-function fixture faders with three modes (Fixture, Group, and Cue), plus three playback faders configured as two chase controllers and one cue stack, all legended on screen. A dedicated Grand Master fader sets overall level. A dedicated color control area with hue and saturation encoders, inbuilt gel libraries, and a color picker handles LED color mixing directly from the touchscreen. RDM Autopatch detects and patches RDM-compliant fixtures automatically, and the personality library covers tens of thousands of fixture profiles spanning LEDs, dimmers, and moving lights.

An HDMI output drives an external 1920 x 1080 monitor for additional Output and Home windows. The console includes two USB ports, a network port, and audio input and output for audio triggering. Free offline editor software for Windows and macOS lets programmers build shows on a computer, save to a USB drive, and load onto the console. The QuickQ 10 runs from an included 12V DC power supply.
