Product Overview
The ChamSys MagicDMX Full is a single-universe USB to DMX interface that unlocks a full universe of output with no time restriction when used with the free MagicQ software. It supports RDM and can operate as either a DMX output or a DMX input for monitoring and testing. Through RDM it can remotely set DMX addresses, select fixture modes, and auto patch compliant fixtures into MagicQ. A USB-C connection and 5-pin female XLR make it a practical interface for programming and small productions.
Product Description
The MagicDMX Full is the upper tier of the MagicDMX USB to DMX interface range, designed to pair with the free MagicQ software for programming, testing, and running small lighting rigs. It outputs one full universe of DMX with no time limit, which is the key difference from the Basic version, and adds RDM support for remote device management. 
Operating as a DMX output, it drives real moving lights and fixtures directly from a PC or Mac running MagicQ. Switched to input, it reads incoming DMX so it can be used as a DMX test and monitoring device on site. The RDM channel lets technicians remotely set fixture addresses, choose operating modes, and auto patch RDM-compliant fixtures straight into the MagicQ patch, reducing manual addressing time. Within MagicQ the interface supports up to 64 universes, 32,768 channels, up to 32,768 fixtures, 5000 cues, 2000 cue stacks, 4096 palettes, 5000 groups, and support for up to 50 media servers. 
The hardware uses a USB-C connector, a 5-pin female XLR output, basic electrical protection, and an LED status indicator. Note that MagicDMX does not unlock MagicQ demo mode features, and gender-reversing adapters for input use are not included. The unit ships in a soft shell carry case.
