Product Overview
The ChamSys GeNetix GW2O is a two-port, PoE-powered wall mount DMX node with female DMX connectors, built to deliver Art-Net and sACN control to fixed installations. It fits standard single-gang US, UK, and EU back boxes and provides two RDM-capable DMX ports, each configurable for input or output. With an inbuilt web server, ChamNet support, and configuration from MagicQ or QuickQ consoles, the GW2O converts network data to DMX behind a discreet wall plate. Interchangeable black and white faceplates are supplied.
Product Description
The GeNetix GW2O is a wall mount network node that converts Art-Net and sACN lighting data to DMX at the point of use, removing the need for long home-run DMX cabling in permanent installations. It provides two RDM Direct DMX ports with female connectors, each independently configurable as input or output, plus a single network port on a punchdown connector for clean in-wall termination. PoE delivers both data and power over a single Ethernet cable.
As part of the GeNetix node family, the GW2O supports Art-Net V1 through V4 and sACN with per-universe priorities, plus Remote Device Management for fixture addressing. DMX timings are fully configurable, including refresh rate, break time, frame time, and MAB. DMX redundancy support and configurable lost-data behavior (hold, none, or zeros) keep output predictable in critical installs. Configuration is handled from ChamSys consoles, over Art-Net, or through the built-in web server.
The GW2O is available in US, UK, and EU back box variants; this version carries female DMX ports. The US version measures 70 x 37.5 x 115 mm and weighs 0.15 kg. Interchangeable black and white faceplates are included to match the interior. Note that the GW2O does not unlock demo mode on MagicQ PC systems.
