Product Overview
The ChamSys GeNetix GD10 is a 19" 1U rack-mountable 10-port DMX splitter built for both permanent installations and live event rigs. This RDM-capable DMX splitter accepts up to two DMX inputs and distributes signal across ten opto-isolated outputs, with selectable 1x10 or 2x5 operating modes. An RDM Disable button lets technicians strip RDM data and retime the DMX signal when downstream fixtures require clean output. The all-metal chassis and Neutrik powerCON TRUE1 mains input make it a dependable choice for touring and architectural lighting networks.
Product Description
The GeNetix GD10 is a professional 10-port DMX splitter and isolator designed to clean, buffer, and distribute DMX512 signal across large lighting systems. Two selectable modes give you flexibility: route a single DMX universe to all ten outputs for high fan-out, or split two separate universes across five outputs each. Every one of the ten 5-pin outputs is opto-isolated, protecting your console and upstream gear from ground loops, voltage faults, and electrical noise traveling back through the data line.

RDM E1.20 compliance allows bidirectional remote device management data to pass through the splitter for fixture addressing and feedback, while the dedicated RDM Disable button removes RDM traffic and retimes the DMX output for fixtures that do not tolerate RDM packets. The 1U rack-mountable form factor and M12 clamp fixing options support clean integration into touring racks and fixed installation enclosures.

Power is supplied through a locking Neutrik powerCON TRUE1 connector accepting 110 to 240 VAC, drawing a maximum of 6.5W. At 2.75 kg in a single rack unit, the GD10 is a compact DMX distribution amplifier suited to concert touring, theatre, and house of worship lighting networks. A powerCON TRUE1 power cable is included.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many DMX outputs does the GeNetix GD10 have?
The GD10 provides ten 5-pin opto-isolated DMX output ports and two DMX input ports.
Can the GD10 split two separate DMX universes?
Yes. In 2x5 mode it splits two DMX inputs across five outputs each; in 1x10 mode a single input feeds all ten outputs.
What does the RDM Disable button do?
It strips RDM data from the data stream and retimes the DMX signal, which is useful for fixtures that do not tolerate RDM packets.
Are the outputs isolated?
Yes. All ten outputs are opto-isolated, protecting connected fixtures and upstream control equipment from ground loops and electrical faults.
What power connector does the GD10 use?
It uses a locking Neutrik powerCON TRUE1 input accepting 110 to 240 VAC, drawing a maximum of 6.5W. A powerCON TRUE1 power cable is included.
Is the GD10 rack mountable?
