Product Description
Many SCT RemoteCam modules and third-party control processors carry RS-232 serial control over structured RJ45 cabling, while codecs, cameras, and control ports terminate in DB9 connectors. The RCC-M009 bridges that gap with a female RJ45 on one end and a female DB9 on the other, letting integrators land a Cat-cable serial run directly on DB9 control equipment. As an SCT factory accessory, it is wired to match SCT module pinouts, avoiding the guesswork of field-terminated adapters. It suits permanent commercial installations where serial camera control or codec control passes through a RemoteCam extension system. Pair it with SCT serial control cables such as the RCC-H016-1.0M RJ45 to RJ45 host cable when building out control runs.
