Control systems from manufacturers such as Crestron and similar platforms commonly expose RS-232 on 3-pin Euroblock (Phoenix-style) terminal connectors, while SCT modules, codecs, and cameras present DB9 ports. The RCC-M002-1.0M links the two with a factory-terminated cable, removing field termination errors at the Euroblock end and standardizing serial control wiring across rooms. SCT's dealer catalog lists it as a serial control cable, and it is stocked as the spare for SCT extension deployments where camera control passes to a room control processor.
