The Cambridge Sound DS1398B (part number 911.0877.900) is a Dynasound networked loudspeaker supplied with a tile bridge for ceiling installation. Product Description
The DS1398 places two drivers back to back so acoustic energy radiates evenly rather than in a single forward beam, which is the behavior masking designers want inside reflective plenum spaces. As a networked loudspeaker it is intended for Dynasound networked sound masking architectures, where speakers are addressed and driven through network-connected processors. The B-suffix package includes the tile bridge, letting installers mount the speaker over suspended ceiling tile grids where direct suspension is impractical. Even dispersion in underfloor cavities and plenums helps the masking spectrum stay consistent across the occupied space below. Specifying the bridge-equipped model up front avoids sourcing mounting hardware separately during rollout.
