The Qt X 300 control module generates the masking signal, controls levels and spectra, and amplifies the emitter network, with two auxiliary audio inputs for distributing paging and background music through the same loudspeakers. While this bundle is configured for one zone with 16 active emitters, the controller supports up to three zones and scales to 36,000 square feet (3,345 m²), so the system grows with your space. Settings are adjusted from the user-friendly front panel, or from a PC, Mac, or tablet using Qt Monitoring and Control Software, which adds error reporting and time-dependent masking levels. The included Qt Active Emitters are small direct-field loudspeakers that are virtually invisible once deployed in finished or open-structure ceilings, and they use the same cabling infrastructure and driver size as other Cambridge Sound systems, keeping installation and calibration simple. An extended masking spectrum improves occupant comfort, and Qt Active and original Qt Emitters can run simultaneously on the same processor in separate zones.
