Each of the Qt X 600's six zones is independently adjustable for masking level, auxiliary audio level, and spectrum, so open areas, corridors, and private offices can be tuned separately from one device. Every zone receives four non-correlated sound masking sources, producing uniform coverage without phasing artifacts. The module includes an adjustable equalizer for masking and audio inputs, auto ramping, event scheduling, and a built-in clock with NTP support for time-based masking levels. Two cable runs serve each zone, supporting up to 50 Qt Active Emitters per run at 800 feet or 60 standard Qt emitters per run at 1,000 feet. Dual network ports separate media and control traffic, and the unit is managed from its front-panel LCD, a web interface on any web-enabled device, or a third-party control API over Ethernet. The Qt X 600 is fully compatible with Biamp SageVue system management software, and in multi-controller systems audio inputs are shared across controllers via the AVB media network (the 600D variant adds Dante).
